Current Projects: The pupils will spend half the year in Food Technology and the other half in the main Technology area looking at both Graphics and Resistant Materials aspects of the subject:

• Graphic presentation techniques
• Batch production board game
• Introduction to Food Technology

Skills to be learnt:

• Working to produce a number of identical items
• Identifying a specific market
• Research and design development
• 2DDesign and Macromedia Fireworks software
• Basic food preparation hygiene and safety
• A range of menus from preparation to presentation

Common Assessment tasks:

• Mid-project assessment/review
• End of board game assessment
