Year 8

Assessment

At key stage 3, students are assessed frequently. A national curriculum level is awarded for their work in every module. The students will sometimes be expected to compile a portfolio of their work during a module or may be given a project to complete. The projects require the students to address "real" problems and then develop ICT solutions, for example addressing the issues of "boring" presentations, creating a website that markets a new rock band, creating a seat booking system for the drama performances.
