  • The BBC ethics website is particularly useful reading for GCSE and AS level students. http://www.bbc.co.uk/ethics/
  • Encourage him to read a newspaper especially if there are matters of religious, philosophical and ethical interest being covered (i.e. A religious festival, arguments between religion and science, abortion, euthanasia, stem cell research, war, poverty etc)
  • Other websites to browse for GCSE material:
  • Ask him what topics he is covering and ask him questions about them.
  • Challenge his answers. Encourage him to give good reasons to back up the answers he gives.
